Okoth Keko vs Shayan Shehata

Boxing Daily Report from the Kit Hendo Promotions promoted show at Lira Tamusuza, Lira,  taking place on 02/04/2030:

Clearly Kit Hendo Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Uganda-Northern Region Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Okoth Keko (6(1) - 1) who hails from Gulu, Uganda and Shayan Shehata(9 - 11 - 2) from Lira, Uganda.  Keko weighed in at 175 pounds, while Shehata weighed in at 174 pounds And 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Dia, and the three ringside judges are Keshawn Drito, James Bourdillon and Sid Commins.  

Round 1: 

Keko gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Shehata sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shehata tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid cross.  
Keko is looking to close the distance and lands two left uppercuts followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Keko holds on to his opponent.  Keko is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Keko.

Keko throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Keko holds on to his opponent.  Keko tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shehata's kidney. The referee warns Keko and breaks the clinch.  
Keko walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Keko SLAMS a spiteful right hook into his opponents face.  SHEHATA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Keko holds on to his opponent.  Keko uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Shehata's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Keko to stop holding.  
Keko DETONATES a mean left uppercut on his opponents face.  It looks like Shehata has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Keko lands a mean left hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE SHEHATA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Keko senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Shehata and just needs the right shot.  Keko is on target with a mean cross.  SHEHATA IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 8.  
Keko connects with a hurtful left hook.  SHEHATA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 5.  Shehata now seems to have got his legs back.

Keko throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Keko ties up his opponent.  Keko leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Keko tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Shehata behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Keko closes the distance and lands a right uppercut.  
Shehata hits home with a left hook.  
Keko lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Keko digs in a left hook to Shehata's body.

Keko lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Shehata almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Keko connects with a HUGE left hook.  SHEHATA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE REMAINS ON THE CANVAS AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Keko!
