Henry Lane vs Ed MacGuire

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at Edinburgh McCowen, Edinburgh,  taking place on 28/04/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Henry Lane (11(4) - 1) who hails from Dundee, UK and Ed MacGuire(10 - 4(1) - 3) from Edinburgh, UK.  Both Lane and MacGuire weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bruce McBeth, and the three ringside judges are Robert Priddy, Andrew Frew and David Hall.  

Round 1: 

Lane steps inside.  MacGuire throws a left hook, but Lane holds on to his opponent.  Lane is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Lane hits home with a left hook.  
Lane is on target with a stinging cross.  
Lane closes the distance.  MacGuire attempts to land a left hook, but Lane sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Lane lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Lane lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Lane walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Lane digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Lane is on target with a left hook to MacGuire's liver.  
Lane hits home with a stinging right hook.  Lane holds on to his opponent.  Lane leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. MacGuire pushes his forearm into Lane's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Lane attempts to land a left hook, but MacGuire blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lane manouvers his opponent into the corner.  MacGuire connects with a right hook.  
Lane connects with a firm cross.  
Lane lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Lane pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a stinging right uppercut.  
MacGuire throws a left hook, but Lane clinches his opponent.  Lane is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Lane.  
Lane hits home with a left hook.  
Lane lands a stinging right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...MacGuire's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  MacGuire's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Lane gets on the inside and lands a right hook.  Lane clinches his opponent.  Lane tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits MacGuire's kidney. Lane leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Lane throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head.
