Jacob Fergerson vs Jordan Pyper

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-California promoted show at Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Diego,  taking place on 02/05/2030:

Clearly AI USA-California have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Pacific Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jacob Fergerson (18 - 11(1) - 4) who hails from San Diego, USA and Jordan Pyper(25(2) - 1(1)) from Seattle, USA.  Fergerson weighed in at 122 pounds, while Pyper weighed in at 121 pounds And 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Arthur Moultrie, and the three ringside judges are Harry Millar, Brin Erwin and Malcolm Waldie.  

Round 1: 

Pyper lands a hard jab.  
Pyper is looking to close the distance.  Pyper digs in a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Pyper wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Fergerson dabs at his face checking for damage.
