James Axtell vs Sam Kerry

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Louisiana promoted show at Baton Rouge Hoggan, Baton Rouge,  taking place on 02/05/2030:

Clearly AI USA-Louisiana have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Louisiana Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are James Axtell (8 - 6) who hails from Shreveport, USA and Sam Kerry(3 - 6 - 5) from Shreveport, USA.  Axtell weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces, while Kerry weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alen Pritchard, and the three ringside judges are James Smillie, Patrick Parro and David Tullis.  

Round 1: 

Kerry lands a right uppercut.  Kerry attempts to land a left hook, but Axtell blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Kerry advances into close range.  Axtell voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Kerry steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Kerry is on target with a left uppercut to Axtell's body.
