Darryl Clasby vs John Crandall

Boxing Daily Report from the Aqua Marines Promotions promoted show at Mick Osmond Gym, New Orleans,  taking place on 02/05/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Louisiana Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Darryl Clasby (8 - 9(2) - 4) who hails from Baton Rouge, USA and John Crandall(10 - 17 - 3) from Baton Rouge, USA.  Both Clasby and Crandall weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Gilchrist, and the three ringside judges are Adam Morris, Mick Main and Leo Larbaud.  

Round 1: 

Clasby throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Crandall lands a left uppercut.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Crandall.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Clasby sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with an overhand left.  
Crandall sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Clasby attempts to land a left hook, but Crandall blocks the shot and counters with a cross.
