Chris Gunn vs Anton Nikolaev

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Lokomotiv Stadium, Nizhny Novgorod,  taking place on 25/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Gunn (11(5) - 0) who hails from Glendale, USA and Anton Nikolaev(10 - 12 - 7) from Volzhsky, Russia.  Gunn weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Nikolaev weighed in at 139 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Luka Alipov, and the three ringside judges are Sasha Bykov, Fadei Rakowski and Aleksandr Kharchenko.  

Round 1: 

Gunn advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Nikolaev throws a right hook, but Gunn ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Nikolaev pushes his forearm into Gunn's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gunn lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Gunn lands with a hard jab.  
Gunn lands a right hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Gunn steps inside.  Gunn pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Nikolaev's ribs.  
Gunn advances into close range and drives a solid right hook into Nikolaev's body.  
Gunn lands a right uppercut to the body followed by two left hook's to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Nikolaev almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gunn lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Nikolaev tries to land a cross, but Gunn sidesteps and counters with a solid left hook.  
Gunn connects with a solid right hook.  
Gunn hits home with a cross.  
Gunn lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Nikolaev recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Gunn lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gunn is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Gunn advances into close range and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gunn ties up his opponent.  Gunn uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Nikolaev behind the head. Nikolaev almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gunn lands a sharp right hook.  
Gunn lands a right hook.  
Gunn steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand left followed by a jab to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Nikolaev quickly recovers. 
Gunn lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Gunn closes the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nikolaev's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Nikolaev's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Gunn lands two left hooks followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND NIKOLAEV IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 5.  
Nikolaev closes the distance.  Gunn lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
