Justin Caddick vs David Watkins

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Academy Stadium Manchester City FC, Manchester,  taking place on 01/06/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sky Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Caddick (27(22) - 8(7)) who hails from New Orleans, USA and David Watkins(23(14) - 13(10)) from Bristol, UK.  Both Caddick and Watkins weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is John McQuay, and the three ringside judges are Floyd Sayer, Paul Elliot and John Magee.  

Round 1:

Caddick steps away from his opponent.  Watkins is looking to force the stoppage!  Watkins lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS CADDICK DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  It looks like Caddick has now recovered from that shot earlier.

Caddick switches the action to the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Watkins could be enough to finish Caddick!  Watkins connects with a FIERCE right hook.  CADDICK IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  HE UNSTEADILY TRIES TO GET UP BUT IS UNABLE TO BEAT THE 10 COUNT!  The winner by KO is Watkins!
