Bohdan Slusar vs Verdun Lucas

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Isfara Stadium, Isfara,  taking place on 18/07/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bohdan Slusar (9(7) - 1) who hails from Makiivka, Ukraine and Verdun Lucas(4 - 6(2) - 2) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Slusar and Lucas weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Borya Mammadov, and the three ringside judges are Farahim Usman, Nadir Hajibabayev and Fahmin Aliyev.  

Round 1: 

Slusar lands with a sharp jab.  
Slusar tries to keep the action at long range and lands a stiff jab.  
Lucas steps inside and throws a right hook, but Slusar holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Slusar pushes his forearm into Lucas's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Slusar about fouling.  
Slusar lands with a spiteful jab.  
Slusar lands a hard jab.  
Slusar steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Lucas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Lucas is looking to close the distance.  Slusar lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Slusar ties up his opponent.  Lucas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Slusar steps away from his opponent.  Slusar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Lucas gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but Slusar clinches his opponent.  Slusar leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Slusar feints a cross, tricking Lucas into throwing a right hook counter.  Slusar avoids the shot and counters with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  LUCAS IS HURT!  
Lucas walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Lucas attempts to land a cross, but Slusar sidesteps and counters with a hurtful right hook.  It looks like Lucas has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
Slusar lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Slusar quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Slusar lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Slusar is on target with a cross.  
Slusar lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand right to the head.  
Slusar is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a jab.  
Slusar finds the target with a jab.  
Slusar lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Slusar lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Slusar hits home with a sharp cross.  
Slusar lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Lucas closes the distance.  Slusar pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Slusar tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a jab.  
Lucas advances into close range.  Slusar lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Slusar clinches his opponent.  Lucas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Slusar's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  Lucas quickly recovers. 
Slusar lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Slusar tries to step out of his opponents range and DETONATES a MASSIVE overhand right on his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE LUCAS WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Lucas almost instantly gets his legs back. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Lucas's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Lucas's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Lucas's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Lucas is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but Slusar holds on to his opponent.  Slusar is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Slusar tries to step out of his opponents range.  Slusar feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND SENDS LUCAS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 6.  
Slusar is looking to force the stoppage!  Slusar lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS LUCAS TO THE CANVAS!  The count reaches 10, but Lucas is unable to get up!  The winner by KO is Slusar!
