Sergei Malinski vs Petro Walek

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Belarus-East promoted show at Gomel Kozuch, Gomel,  taking place on 14/04/2030:

Clearly AI Belarus-East have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Belarus-East Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sergei Malinski (14 - 8(2) - 3) who hails from Mogilev, Belarus and Petro Walek(7(2) - 0 - 1) from Mogilev, Belarus.  Both Malinski and Walek weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yulian Karlik, and the three ringside judges are Georgiy Kostyk, Petro Soroko and Aleksei Baran.  

Round 1: 

Walek steps to the outside.  Walek lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Malinski tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
Walek is looking to close the distance.  Malinski throws a right hook, but Walek ties up his opponent.  Malinski is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Walek lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Walek manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Walek pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Walek lands a stinging left hook.  Walek ties up his opponent.  Walek is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Walek about fouling.  
Walek throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps.  Walek ties up his opponent.  Walek is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Walek walks Malinski into a corner.  Walek is on target with a right hook.  Walek holds on to his opponent.  Malinski pushes his forearm into Walek's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  Walek throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Walek lands a left hook.  Walek throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Walek advances into close range.  Malinski sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Walek lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Malinski steps away from his opponent.  Walek lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Walek lands a cross, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Malinski recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Malinski is looking to close the distance.  Walek lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Walek is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a cross.  
Walek advances into close range.  Walek lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND MALINSKI IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 7.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Malinski's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Malinski's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate. Round 2: 

Walek switches the action to the outside and lands a solid jab.  
Walek connects with a FIERCE cross.  MALINSKI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Malinski almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Walek drives a solid right hook into his opponents body.  Walek ties up his opponent.  Walek leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  As Malinski tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Walek dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Walek is looking to close the distance.  Malinski throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Walek steps inside.  Walek connects with a firm right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Walek dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Walek lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS MALINSKI SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Malinski recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Walek cuts off the ring, trapping Malinski in a corner.  Malinski throws a right uppercut, but Walek ties up his opponent.  Walek hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Walek lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Walek clinches his opponent.  Walek is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Walek to stop holding.  
Walek lands a right hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Walek lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Walek is on target with a solid left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Walek closes the distance and walks his opponent into the corner.  Walek connects with a sharp right hook.  
Walek drives a solid left uppercut into his opponents liver.

Walek gets on the inside and lands a firm left hook.

Walek steps away from his opponent.  Walek stands off with low guard waiting for his opponent to launch an attack.  Malinski attempts to land a cross, but Walek sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Walek manouvers his opponent into the red corner.  Walek feints a jab and triggers a left uppercut counter from Malinski.  Walek avoids the shot and counters with a WICKED left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE MALINSKI WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Walek is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Walek DETONATES a CRUSHING cross on his opponents face.  MALINSKI IS DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Malinski now seems to have his senses back.  
Walek lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Walek tries to step out of his opponents range and hits home with a stinging cross.  
Walek connects with a mean left hook.  MALINSKI HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Walek!
