Hayden Gilbride vs Rob Pitera

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Queensland promoted show at Gold Coast Leiper, Gold Coast,  taking place on 14/05/2030:

Clearly AI Australia-Queensland have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Australia-Queensland Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hayden Gilbride (7(2) - 3) who hails from Brisbane, Australia and Rob Pitera(5 - 3 - 2) from Brisbane, Australia.  Gilbride weighed in at 107 pounds And 11 ounces, while Pitera weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Durie, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Mullane, Oliver Aulds and Seth Urbano.  

Round 1: 

Gilbride closes the distance.  Pitera throws a right hook, but Gilbride holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Gilbride pushes his forearm into Pitera's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gilbride to stop fouling.  
Gilbride is on target with a left uppercut.  
Gilbride manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Gilbride lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Gilbride tries to land a jab, but Pitera sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Gilbride advances into close range and connects with a left hook.  
Gilbride lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Gilbride lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Gilbride clinches his opponent.  Gilbride uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Pitera behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gilbride lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Pitera tries to keep the action at long range.  Gilbride lands a firm cross.  
Gilbride closes the distance.  Pitera pivots to the side of his opponent.  Pitera throws a left hook, but Gilbride clinches his opponent.  Gilbride leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Pitera attempts to land a cross, but Gilbride sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Gilbride steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Gilbride holds on to his opponent.  Gilbride tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pitera's kidney. The referee warns Gilbride and breaks the clinch.  
Gilbride lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Pitera quickly recovers. 
Gilbride walks Pitera onto the ropes.  Gilbride lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the body.

Gilbride hits home with a firm cross.  
Gilbride is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Pitera connects with a cross.  
Gilbride steps inside.  Pitera hits home with a left hook.  Gilbride ties up his opponent.  Gilbride pushes his forearm into Pitera's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gilbride about fouling.

Gilbride lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Gilbride lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
