Lee Connolly vs James Patricio

Boxing Daily Report from the Gore Promotions promoted show at Gore Gym, Boston,  taking place on 18/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lee Connolly (9 - 1 - 1(NC)) who hails from Lowell, USA and James Patricio(7 - 1 - 2) from Dallas, USA.  Connolly weighed in at 154 pounds, while Patricio weighed in at 153 pounds And 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Bart McWethy, and the three ringside judges are Ian Noble, Bart McWethy and Nathan Burt.  

Round 1: 

Connolly is looking to close the distance.  Patricio pivots from in front of his opponent.  Connolly lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Connolly is on target with a solid left hook to Patricio's body.  Connolly ties up his opponent.  Connolly is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Connolly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Patricio throws a left uppercut, but Connolly ties up his opponent.  Connolly pushes his forearm into Patricio's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Connolly.  
Connolly walks Patricio into a corner.  Connolly lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Connolly clinches his opponent.  Connolly leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Connolly's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Connolly dabs at his face checking for damage.
