Xeres Blas vs Reynaldo Paules

Boxing Daily Report from the Mochilo promoted show at Madrid Tomey, Madrid,  taking place on 01/05/2030:

Clearly Mochilo have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Xeres Blas (3 - 0) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Reynaldo Paules(1 - 2 - 1) from Malaga, Spain.  Both Blas and Paules weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vegas Hidalgo, and the three ringside judges are Nemesio Cacho, Paco Castilleja and Jose Carranco.  

Round 1: 

Blas steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Paules pivots to the left of his opponent.  Blas drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Blas forces Paules to retreat onto the ropes.  Blas lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Blas throws a left uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Blas clinches his opponent.  Blas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Blas lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Blas holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Blas pushes his forearm into Paules's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Blas.  
Paules attempts to land a cross, but Blas parries the shot and counters with a stinging right uppercut.  
Blas is looking to close the distance.  Paules throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a firm left uppercut.  
Blas lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Blas lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Paules pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Blas advances into close range and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Paules is on target with a right hook.  
Paules pivots to the right of his opponent.  Blas throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Paules manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Blas digs in a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Blas dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Blas digs in a right hook to Paules's body.  Blas holds on to his opponent.  Blas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Blas tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Paules behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Blas.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Paules's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Blas circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Paules attempts to land a jab, but Blas blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Blas steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Paules throws a left hook, but Blas clinches his opponent.  Blas leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Blas gets on the inside and manouvers Paules into a neutral corner.  Blas drives a left uppercut into Paules's ribs.  Blas clinches his opponent.  Blas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Blas lands a left hook.  
Blas lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Blas connects with a sharp left hook.  
Blas gets on the inside.  Blas digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Paules voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Blas accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Paules.  
Blas is looking to close the distance and digs in a right uppercut to Paules's ribs.  
Paules tries to keep the action at long range.  Blas connects with a cross.
