Mark Riley vs Kenji Hoshino

Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Kobe International Conference Center Main Hall, Kobe,  taking place on 13/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Mark Riley (5(2) - 0) who hails from Dublin, Ireland and Kenji Hoshino(4 - 1) from Machida, Japan.  Both Riley and Hoshino weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nao Arakaki, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Matsuno, Ryo Takano and Hajime Nishioka.  

Round 1: 

Riley lands a straight 1 - 2.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Hoshino has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Riley steps inside and digs in a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Riley throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm left hook.  
Riley closes the distance and digs in a sharp right uppercut to his opponents body.
