Leon Bateman vs Samartlek Vichitpaedriew

Boxing Daily Report from the Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment promoted show at Fight Club, Udon Thani,  taking place on 06/05/2030:

Clearly Payakaroon Boxing Entertainment have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Leon Bateman (5(2) - 1) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Samartlek Vichitpaedriew(8 - 5 - 2) from Udon Thani, Thailand.  Both Bateman and Vichitpaedriew weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rachamongkol Chantaroj, and the three ringside judges are Decha Rangsiyo, Decha Rangsiyo and Kaenpetch Dechmitr.  

Round 1:

Bateman steps inside and connects with a nasty right uppercut.  VICHITPAEDRIEW IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Bateman digs in a firm left hook to Vichitpaedriew's ribs.  
Bateman steps inside and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Bateman lands a right hook to the body, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND DOWN GOES VICHITPAEDRIEW!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Bateman!
