Mikhail Vorontsevich vs Sergei Kostygov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Russia-Krasnoyarsk promoted show at Norilsk Gurkin, Norilsk,  taking place on 21/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Russia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Eurosport Russia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mikhail Vorontsevich (17 - 15(3) - 3) who hails from Novosibirsk, Russia and Sergei Kostygov(22(15) - 7(3)) from Norilsk, Russia.  Vorontsevich weighed in at 237 pounds and 9 ounces, while Kostygov weighed in at 243 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fadei Chaplin, and the three ringside judges are Ioakim Mogilevets, Zernebog Shishkina and Aleksandr Linge.

Kostygov switches the action to the outside and is on target with a telling cross.  IT LOOKS LIKE VORONTSEVICH WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Kostygov is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Kostygov lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, DROPPING VORONTSEVICH TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 8.  Vorontsevich now seems to have got his legs back.  
Kostygov is on target with a jab.  
Vorontsevich advances into close range and drives a right hook into Kostygov's ribs.

Vorontsevich closes the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Vorontsevich throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.

Kostygov tries to step out of his opponents range.  Kostygov is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Kostygov lands a cross, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS VORONTSEVICH DOWN!  He manages to get up at 7.  
Vorontsevich is looking to close the distance.  Kostygov lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS VORONTSEVICH TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Kostygov!
