Rico Salinari vs Dante Zappacosta

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Italy-Liguria promoted show at Alessandro De Bacco Gym, La Spezia,  taking place on 19/05/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Liguria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Salinari (13 - 11(1) - 2) who hails from Genoa, Italy and Dante Zappacosta(20 - 4) from Genoa, Italy.  Salinari weighed in at 135 pounds, while Zappacosta weighed in at 134 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Marco Masoero, and the three ringside judges are Pepe Cusano, Emilio Benetti and Pepe Cusano.  

Round 1: 

Zappacosta drives a right uppercut into Salinari's body.  Zappacosta throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Zappacosta closes the distance.  Zappacosta quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands two left uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
