Dale Birdi vs Robert Saina

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Mombasa promoted show at Mombasa Bosibori, Mombasa,  taking place on 23/04/2030:

Clearly AI Kenya-Mombasa have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Mombasa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dale Birdi (20 - 7(2)) who hails from Mombasa, Kenya and Robert Saina(3 - 7(1) - 5) from Mombasa, Kenya.  Both Birdi and Saina weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is George Waciuma, and the three ringside judges are Hassan Badini, Joey Keino and Michael Bwakali.  

Round 1: 

Birdi gets on the inside.  Saina throws a left hook, but Birdi holds on to his opponent.  Birdi pushes his forearm into Saina's face.  The referee warns Birdi and breaks the clinch.  
Saina advances into close range.  Birdi lands a left hook to the body followed by two right hook's to the head.  Birdi clinches his opponent.  Saina is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Saina to stop fouling.  
Birdi lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.

Birdi pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

As Birdi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Saina dabs at his face checking for damage.  Saina has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
