Fumio Takaki vs Ryo Higashi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Hiroshima promoted show at Hiroshima Oyama, Hiroshima,  taking place on 20/05/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hiroshima Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Fumio Takaki (10(1) - 1) who hails from Fukuyama, Japan and Ryo Higashi(12 - 12 - 4) from Hiroshima, Japan.  Takaki weighed in at 135 pounds, while Higashi weighed in at 134 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Saito, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Yokoyama, Takeshi Niwa and Satoru Fukuda.  

Round 1: 

Takaki hits home with an overhand left.

Higashi tries to keep the action at long range.  Takaki hits home with a cross.  
Takaki closes the distance.  As Higashi tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Takaki dabs at his face checking for damage.
