Michael Nyamau vs Mason Wathika

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Amon Akaranga Gym, Kangundo-Tala,  taking place on 24/04/2030:

Clearly AI Kenya-Machakos have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Machakos Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Michael Nyamau (7 - 4(1) - 2) who hails from Machakos, Kenya and Mason Wathika(3 - 4 - 3) from Kangundo-Tala, Kenya.  Nyamau weighed in at 201 pounds and 5 ounces, while Wathika weighed in at 200 pounds.    As Nyamau came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Ian Kahiu, and the three ringside judges are Leighton Tumbo, Sam Mwiria and Jamar Kosgei.
