William Telfer vs Kian Hankin

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at AT&T Park, San Francisco,  taking place on 18/07/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wild William Telfer (31(26) - 3(3)) who hails from New York City, USA and Kian Hankin(18(3) - 13(7) - 1) from Richmond, Canada.  Both Telfer and Hankin weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Lee Copland, and the three ringside judges are Barry Maxton, Dylan Nield and Charlie Valdivia.  

Round 1: 

Hankin advances into close range.  Telfer lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  Telfer tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Telfer is on target with a solid overhand right.  
Telfer sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Hankin throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a firm right hook.  
Hankin closes the distance.  Telfer pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a solid right hook into his opponents ribcage.  
Telfer switches the action to the outside and lands a jab to the body, an overhand left to the head and a jab to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hankin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hankin is looking to close the distance.  Telfer lands a right hook to the body, a left uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Telfer tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Hankin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Hankin advances into close range and walks Telfer into a corner.  Hankin lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Telfer pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Telfer is on target with a jab.  
Hankin closes the distance.  Telfer is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Telfer lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Telfer tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross, jab and an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Telfer lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Hankin quickly recovers. 
Telfer is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Hankin closes the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Telfer slips the shot and counters with a sharp left uppercut to Hankin's body.  
Hankin throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right uppercut.  
Hankin steps inside and forces Telfer to retreat onto the ropes.  Hankin hits home with a right hook.  
Hankin connects with a left hook.  
Hankin lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Hankin is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a right hook, but Telfer slips the shot and counters with a solid left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Hankin's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Hankin tries to land a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Telfer finds the target with a ramrod jab.  
Telfer steps to the outside.  Hankin lands a straight 1 - 2.  Hankin tries to land a jab, but Telfer slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Telfer lands with a sharp jab.  
Hankin gets on the inside and drives a firm left hook into Telfer's liver.  Hankin tries to land a right hook, but Telfer slips the shot and counters with a firm cross.  
Telfer steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by two straights to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Hankin quickly recovers. 
Hankin steps inside.  Hankin pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hankin throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a potent left uppercut.  HANKIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Hankin quickly recovers. 
Hankin manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Hankin tries to land a right uppercut, but Telfer parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Telfer hits home with a firm cross.  
Telfer lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Hankin pivots to the right of his opponent.  Telfer lands a cross to the head, a jab to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  Telfer throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Hankin is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Telfer steps away from his opponent and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Telfer is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Telfer lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS HANKIN DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  He doesnt look in good shape though! Hankin is still on wobbly legs as the ref signals that the fight is over.  The winner by TKO is Telfer!
