George Bates vs James Mattison

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Manukau Dinwiddie, Manukau,  taking place on 24/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are George Bates (14 - 10(1) - 4) who hails from Manukau, New Zealand and James Mattison(8 - 12 - 2) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Bates weighed in at 125 pounds And 13 ounces, while Mattison weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Beynon, and the three ringside judges are Dale Mostyn, Mark Kinzey and Corey Hopper.  

Round 1:
