Branimir á Kovalenkov vs Kliment á Shopov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Bulgaria-Varna promoted show at Zlatko á Paisi Gym, Varna,  taking place on 25/05/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Bulgaria-Varna Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Branimir á Kovalenkov (3 - 4(1) - 5) who hails from Varna, Bulgaria and Kliment á Shopov(5(2) - 0) from Varna, Bulgaria.  Both Kovalenkov and Shopov weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yavor á Levski, and the three ringside judges are Svetoslav á Zdravkov, Marko á Volvov and Yosif á Kulichev.  

Round 1: 

Shopov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kovalenkov finds the target with a jab.  
Shopov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands with a stinging jab.  
Shopov closes the distance and manages to force Kovalenkov onto the ropes.  Shopov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to Kovalenkov's liver.  As Kovalenkov tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Shopov has taken some damage there.  That has caused a slight cut  the right eye.  .  
Shopov pivots from in front of his opponent.  Shopov is on target with a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Shopov ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Shopov pushes his forearm into Kovalenkov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Shopov about fouling.  
Kovalenkov tries to keep the action at long range and hits home with an overhand right.  
Shopov steps inside and drives a stinging right hook into his opponents ribs.  Shopov clinches his opponent.  Shopov leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Shopov advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Kovalenkov in a corner.  Shopov lands consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents body.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Shopov clinches his opponent.  Shopov is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Shopov lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Shopov is on target with a left uppercut to Kovalenkov's body.  Shopov ties up his opponent.  Shopov leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Shopov is on target with a firm left hook to his opponents body.  
Shopov closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Shopov drives a left uppercut into his opponents body.  
Kovalenkov throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Shopov is on target with a left uppercut to Kovalenkov's liver.  Shopov clinches his opponent.  Shopov tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Kovalenkov's kidney. The ref breaks Shopov's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Shopov digs in a stinging right uppercut to Kovalenkov's body.  
Shopov lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Shopov is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left uppercut into Kovalenkov's liver.  
Shopov sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut.  Kovalenkov wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Shopov dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Shopov closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Shopov clinches his opponent.  Shopov uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Kovalenkov behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Shopov to stop fouling.

Shopov advances into close range and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kovalenkov's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kovalenkov's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Kovalenkov's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Kovalenkov's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Kovalenkov lands a cross.  
Shopov steps inside and drives a stinging right hook into Kovalenkov's ribcage.  
Shopov lands a left hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Kovalenkov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Shopov lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Kovalenkov tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross.  
Shopov closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Shopov sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a sharp right hook into Kovalenkov's ribs.

Shopov lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Shopov lands a cross to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Shopov advances into close range and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Shopov feints a jab, tricking Kovalenkov into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Shopov springs the trap, countering with  a sharp cross.  It looks like Kovalenkov has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.  
Shopov manages to force Kovalenkov into a neutral corner.  Shopov lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Shopov tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Shopov lands a left hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
Shopov is on target with a firm left hook to Kovalenkov's liver.  
Shopov is on target with a solid right hook.  
Shopov steps inside and SLAMS a big right uppercut into his opponents face.  IT LOOKS LIKE KOVALENKOV WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!
