Neil Rutherford vs Daniel Pye

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Auckland Ngamoki, Auckland,  taking place on 26/05/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the New Zealand Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Neil Rutherford (4 - 3 - 2) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Daniel Pye(17 - 5(1) - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Rutherford and Pye weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Blake Brown, and the three ringside judges are Declan Haturini, Rob Horsburgh and Mark Vaux.
