Satoru Fukuda vs Taro Kawabata

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Komazawa Gymnasium, Nishinomiya,  taking place on 01/06/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Japan-Hyogo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Satoru Fukuda (12 - 0 - 1(NC)) who hails from Kakogawa, Japan and Taro Kawabata(9 - 9(1) - 1) from Nishinomiya, Japan.  Fukuda weighed in at 245 pounds And 12 ounces, while Kawabata weighed in at 247 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Michi Morita, and the three ringside judges are Ryuu Aoki, Hiro Seno and Fumio Imai.

Fukuda is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  Fukuda clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Fukuda pushes his forearm into Kawabata's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Fukuda about fouling.  
Fukuda gets on the inside.  Fukuda is on target with a right hook to Kawabata's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Kawabata dabs at his face checking for damage.  Kawabata has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
