Docus Meuleman vs Garrison Damita

Boxing Daily Report from the Belpit Promo #5 promoted show at Vélodrome de Genève, Geneva,  taking place on 27/06/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dr. Docus Meuleman (12(8) - 0) who hails from Antwerp, Belgium and Garrison Damita(3 - 5) from Geneva, Switzerland.  Meuleman weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces, while Damita weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marvel Notte, and the three ringside judges are Charles Ethier, Flannery Ferro and Vachel Gary.  

Round 1: 

Meuleman lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  Meuleman throws a jab, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Damita steps inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Meuleman has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.

Damita is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Meuleman clinches his opponent.  Damita is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Damita about fouling.  
Damita throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Damita advances into close range and walks his opponent into a corner.  Damita pivots to the left of his opponent.  Damita attempts to land a left hook, but Meuleman parries the shot and counters with a stinging right hook.  
Meuleman lands with a stinging jab.  
Damita gets on the inside.  Meuleman lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Damita digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Meuleman lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Damita throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a stinging cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Damita's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Damita's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Damita's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.
