Berto Pascual vs Mark Montez

Boxing Daily Report from the LoneStar Promotions promoted show at Arlington Ness, Arlington,  taking place on 30/05/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Texas Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Berto Pascual (20(1) - 10(1)) who hails from San Antonio, USA and Mark Montez(8 - 18(1) - 4) from Austin, USA.  Both Pascual and Montez weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Morgans, and the three ringside judges are Andy Saenz, Daniel Canas and Joel Abraham.  

Round 1: 

Pascual lands a jab to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Pascual voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Montez accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Pascual.  
Pascual lands a stinging jab.  Pascual attempts to land a cross, but Montez dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
