Rob Groves vs Mark Adair

Boxing Daily Report from the AI New Zealand-Auckland promoted show at Waitakere Puru, Waitakere,  taking place on 28/05/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rob Groves (5(2) - 0 - 1) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Mark Adair(4 - 7 - 3) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Groves and Adair weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Kettles, and the three ringside judges are Dave Sprouse, Patrick Bruce and David All.

Some sustained pressure from Groves could be enough to finish Adair!  Groves lands a right hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head, AND ADAIR IS DOWN!  He manages to get up at 9.  He holds his fists up but stumbles into the referee! Adair doesn't look like he's recovered at all.  The ref seems to thinks so as well...he's signalling that the fight is over!  The winner by TKO is Groves!
