Jack Stackpoole vs Mark Bower

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Dorchester Armory, Boston,  taking place on 17/06/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Kansas Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Stackpoole (21(4) - 4) who hails from Wichita, USA and Mark Bower(8 - 8(1) - 1) from Wichita, USA.  Both Stackpoole and Bower weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Chris Navin, and the three ringside judges are Danny Henderson, Paul Moreland and Rex McNiven.  

Round 1: 

Stackpoole lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Stackpoole lands a jab.  
Stackpoole is looking to close the distance and throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Stackpoole clinches his opponent.  Bower leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Stackpoole's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Stackpoole attempts to land a right hook, but Bower slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Stackpoole is on target with a left hook to Bower's liver.  
Stackpoole lands a left uppercut followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  
Stackpoole gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stackpoole lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Stackpoole gets on the inside.  Bower throws a right hook, but Stackpoole ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Stackpoole pushes his forearm into Bower's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stackpoole lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Bower connects with a left hook.  
Stackpoole gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Stackpoole hits home with a firm left hook.  Stackpoole holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Stackpoole pushes his forearm into Bower's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stackpoole.  
Stackpoole lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Bower pivots to the right of his opponent.  Stackpoole lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stackpoole lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Bower almost instantly recovers. 
Stackpoole lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Stackpoole lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Bower sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Stackpoole lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Bower almost instantly recovers. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Bower's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Bower's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Stackpoole drives a right hook into his opponents body.

Stackpoole lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a right hook to the head, AND SENDS BOWER TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 6.  Bower quickly recovers. 
Stackpoole walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Stackpoole lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  
Stackpoole pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  
Stackpoole is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Stackpoole is on target with a FIERCE left uppercut.  BOWER HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Stackpoole!
