Mark Higgins vs Sagaz Magana

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Golden 1 Center, Sacremento,  taking place on 25/07/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark the Shark Higgins (25(9) - 3(1) - 4) who hails from Syracuse, USA and Sagaz Magana(19(1) - 14(5) - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Both Higgins and Magana weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theo Carson, and the three ringside judges are John Torrance, Zafa Rafiq and Dave Owen.  

Round 1: 

Higgins advances into close range and drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Higgins is looking to close the distance and digs in a sharp left hook to his opponents liver.  
Higgins lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Higgins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Magana throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Magana steps to the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Higgins gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Higgins lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Magana wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Higgins dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Higgins is on target with a stinging right hook to his opponents body.  Higgins attempts to land a right uppercut, but Magana parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.
