John Halley vs Adam Purdie

Boxing Daily Report from the boxeraifan promoted show at Alen Girvin Gym, Denver,  taking place on 02/06/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Colorado Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Halley (16 - 14 - 6) who hails from Colorado Springs, USA and Adam Purdie(9 - 7(1) - 4) from Greeley, USA.  Both Halley and Purdie weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is David Lockaby, and the three ringside judges are John Penrose, Oliver Monhollen and Arran Baker.  

Round 1: 

Halley steps to the outside.  Halley sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a cross.  
Purdie lands a jab.  
Halley gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Halley is on target with a jab.  
Halley is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Halley sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Purdie connects with a left hook.

Halley manouvers Purdie into the corner.  Halley hits home with a right hook.

Halley is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Halley sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Purdie throws an overhand right, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Purdie tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab.  
Purdie manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Purdie feints a left, and then hits home with a cross.  
Halley gets on the inside.  Purdie hits home with a right hook.  
Halley throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.
