Leon Osika vs Nicandro Verduzco

Boxing Daily Report from the Damonte Cox promoted show at Raleigh Aitken, Raleigh,  taking place on 03/06/2030:

Clearly Damonte Cox have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leon Osika (8(1) - 9(1)) who hails from Raleigh, USA and Nicandro Verduzco(8 - 6) from Tampa, USA.  Both Osika and Verduzco weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Baxa, and the three ringside judges are Alen Corson, Dave Hendren and Oliver Racine.  

Round 1: 

Osika is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Osika lands a solid right hook.

Osika steps inside.  Verduzco throws a right uppercut, but his opponent parries the shot.  Osika holds on to his opponent.  Osika hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Osika about fouling.  
Verduzco feints a right hook, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Osika advances into close range and hits home with a right hook.  
Osika attempts to land a left uppercut, but Verduzco sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Osika gets on the inside and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.
