Lemme Tancquere vs Hackett Mellett

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Maurice Richard Arena, Montreal,  taking place on 29/06/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lemme Tancquere (14(9) - 2) who hails from Rotterdam, Netherlands and Hackett Mellett(8 - 3(2) - 2) from Montreal, Canada.  Both Tancquere and Mellett weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Laurent Marceau, and the three ringside judges are Verrier Luna, Prewitt Gedeon and Sinjon Bellanger.  

Round 1: 

Mellett drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Tancquere hits home with a firm cross.  
Tancquere steps to the outside and connects with a cross.  
Tancquere lands a sharp jab.  
Mellett manages to force Tancquere onto the ropes.  Tancquere digs in a right uppercut to his opponents ribcage.  
Tancquere switches the action to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Tancquere lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mellett lands a cross.  
Mellett closes the distance.  Tancquere pivots from in front of his opponent.  Tancquere lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Tancquere clinches his opponent.  Tancquere pushes his forearm into Mellett's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tancquere steps to the outside and is on target with a stiff jab.  Tancquere attempts to land a cross, but Mellett sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.  
Tancquere steps away from his opponent and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Mellett lands a cross.  
Mellett is looking to close the distance.  Tancquere pivots to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm left hook to Mellett's liver.  
Mellett closes the distance and forces Tancquere to retreat onto the ropes.  Tancquere connects with a left uppercut.  
Tancquere is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab to Mellett's body.  
Tancquere pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Tancquere steps away from his opponent.  Tancquere sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Tancquere feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Mellett gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Tancquere ties up his opponent.  Tancquere pushes his forearm into Mellett's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tancquere sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Tancquere is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mellett advances into close range.  Tancquere lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Tancquere ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Tancquere pushes his forearm into Mellett's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tancquere about fouling.  
Tancquere is looking to keep his distance and lands with a hard jab.  
Tancquere lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Tancquere pivots to the side of his opponent.  Tancquere lands a solid left uppercut.  Tancquere ties up his opponent.  Tancquere is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

He follows up the attack and lands a double right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Mellett recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Tancquere tries to keep the action at long range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.

Tancquere lands a ramrod jab.  
Tancquere lands a jab, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head.  
Tancquere switches the action to the outside and connects with a firm overhand right.  
Tancquere tries to keep the action at long range and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Mellett gets on the inside.  Tancquere drives a sharp left hook into his opponents ribs.  Tancquere ties up his opponent.  Mellett leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Tancquere steps away from his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Mellett lands a left hook.  
Mellett steps inside.  Tancquere connects with a right uppercut.  Tancquere holds on to his opponent.  Tancquere pushes his forearm into Mellett's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tancquere to stop fouling.  
Tancquere switches the action to the outside and lands a cross to the body followed by a jab to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Tancquere lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Tancquere lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.

Tancquere lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Mellett gets on the inside.  Tancquere thinks he can end the show early....he's looking to put Mellett away.  Tancquere EXPLODES a big cross into his opponents face.  DOWN GOES MELLETT!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Mellett now seems to have his senses back.

Mellett throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Tancquere is looking to keep the action on the outside and is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Mellett gets on the inside.  Tancquere pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a MASSIVE right hook.  MELLETT HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 9.  
Tancquere drives a jab into Mellett's body.

Mellett pivots to the left of his opponent.  Mellett throws a cross, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Tancquere quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mellett connects with a cross.  
Tancquere strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Tancquere switches the action to the outside and lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Tancquere lands a cross followed by  two jabs to his opponents head.

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  The ref separates the two fighters and tells Mellett to watch his head.  He gives Tancquere a few minutes to recover.

Mellett steps inside.  Frustration is reaching boiling point for Mellett now.   He steps in close and headbutts his opponent!  The ref halts the action and sends Tancquere to the neutral corner.    He tells Mellett to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.
