David Speed vs Mark McCardell

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at Glasgow Lipton, Glasgow,  taking place on 15/05/2030:

Clearly Braveheart have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Speed (5 - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Mark McCardell(10 - 2 - 1) from Glasgow, UK.  Speed weighed in at 118 pounds, while McCardell weighed in at 117 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Angus Greenaway, and the three ringside judges are Peter McAlister, Hamish McBeth and Dennis McClung.  

Round 1: 

McCardell tries to keep the action at long range.  Speed connects with a cross.
