Richie Tyree vs Sam Burns

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 22/06/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Richie Tyree (11(5) - 0) who hails from Christchurch, New Zealand and Sam Burns(19 - 13(11)) from Perth, Australia.  Tyree weighed in at 125 pounds And 8 ounces, while Burns weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nathan Skiver, and the three ringside judges are Tobias Bruce, Dave Antoni and Jacob Stamos.  

Round 1: 

Tyree lands a firm overhand right.

Burns closes the distance.  Burns connects with a left hook.

Tyree is looking to keep his distance.  Tyree quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Burns attempts to land a jab, but Tyree dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tyree is on target with a cross.  
Tyree is on target with a sharp overhand left.  
Tyree feints a jab, tricking Burns into launching a left uppercut counter.  Tyree springs the trap, countering with  a right uppercut.  
Burns forces Tyree to back into the ropes.  Tyree strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Tyree pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Burns lands a jab to the head, a cross to the head and a right hook to the body.  Burns tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Burns pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Burns's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Burns's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Tyree feints a jab, tricking Burns into countering with a right hook.  Tyree springs the trap, countering with  a solid right uppercut.  
Tyree tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.  
Tyree steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  Tyree attempts to land an overhand left, but Burns blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Tyree lands with a spiteful jab.  
Burns advances into close range.  Tyree connects with a right hook.  
Tyree pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tyree tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head, AND SENDS BURNS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Some sustained pressure from Tyree could be enough to finish Burns!  Tyree lands a left hook, cross and a left hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS BURNS SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Tyree!
