Mark Cotts vs Chris Duggan

Boxing Daily Report from the Gene Russell promoted show at Dan Hilson Gym, Rockford,  taking place on 13/06/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Illinois Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mark Cotts (8 - 5 - 6) who hails from Chicago, USA and Chris Duggan(11 - 3) from Chicago, USA.  Both Cotts and Duggan weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Matt Preddy, and the three ringside judges are Ethan Bukowski, Lucas McGowan and Alen Valentine.  

Round 1: 

Cotts steps to the outside.  Duggan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Cotts hits home with a cross.  
Duggan gets on the inside and hits home with a right hook.  
Duggan gets on the inside and cuts off the ring, trapping Cotts in a neutral corner.  Duggan connects with a left uppercut.  
Duggan pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Duggan.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Cotts switches the action to the outside.  Cotts sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Duggan finds the target with a sharp jab.  
Duggan gets on the inside.  Duggan pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook.  
Duggan walks Cotts into the corner.  Duggan lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Duggan lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
