Juan Ceron vs Ashley Hammel

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Robina Stadium, Gold Coast,  taking place on 29/06/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Ceron (12(6) - 2(1) - 1) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Ashley Hammel(19(3) - 2(1)) from Christchurch, New Zealand.  Ceron weighed in at 139 pounds And 15 ounces, while Hammel weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Norris, and the three ringside judges are Robert Reekie, Robert Catanach and Dave Antoni.  

Round 1: 

Hammel attempts to land a jab, but Ceron sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook to Hammel's body.

Ceron lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hammel dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Hammel pivots to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to Ceron's ribs.
