Alvino Sabedra vs Xavier Belasco

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Angel Gimenez Gym, Manta,  taking place on 17/06/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Manabi Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alvino Sabedra (16 - 7(1) - 5) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Xavier Belasco(8(6) - 0) from Manta, Ecuador.  Both Sabedra and Belasco weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rio Lona, and the three ringside judges are Cris Victoria, Manny Santiesteban and Xaver Barbo.  

Round 1: 

Belasco closes the distance.  Sabedra throws a right hook, but Belasco ties up his opponent.  Belasco pushes his forearm into Sabedra's face.  The ref breaks Belasco's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Belasco lands a sharp right hook.  Belasco throws a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Belasco lands a sharp left uppercut.  
Belasco hits home with a left hook.  
Sabedra is looking to keep his distance and lands an overhand right.  Sabedra tries to land a cross, but Belasco slips the shot and counters with a FEARSOME left uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE SABEDRA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Sabedra recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Belasco steps inside and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Belasco forces Sabedra to back into the corner.  Belasco pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents body.  
Belasco is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Belasco steps inside.  Belasco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Belasco digs in a right hook to Sabedra's body.  Belasco throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Belasco lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Belasco gets on the inside.  Sabedra goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref ignores Belasco's complaints and signals for the action to continue.  
Sabedra throws a right hook, but Belasco clinches his opponent.  Belasco is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Belasco gets on the inside and lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Sabedra quickly recovers. 
Belasco steps inside and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Belasco is on target with a sharp right hook.  
Sabedra is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Belasco lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Belasco lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Sabedra almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Belasco lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Belasco strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Belasco manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Belasco connects with a MASSIVE right hook.  SABEDRA IS HURT!  
Belasco is looking to force the stoppage!  Belasco lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body, AND DROPS SABEDRA TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 7.  It looks like Sabedra has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Sabedra's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Sabedra's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Belasco is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Belasco hits home with a right hook.  
Belasco lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Belasco lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Belasco walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Belasco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid cross.  
Belasco is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Belasco tries to keep the action at long range.  Belasco quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a WICKED cross.  SABEDRA IS HURT!  
Belasco is looking for the shot to finish his opponent.  Belasco lands a cross followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head, AND DROPS SABEDRA!  He is still struggling to his feet as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Belasco!
