Antonio Schirru vs Gianluca Velardi

Boxing Daily Report from the Owusu Promotions promoted show at Rome Cirielli, Rome,  taking place on 22/05/2030:

Clearly Owusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Lazio Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Antonio Schirru (14 - 9 - 1) who hails from Rome, Italy and Gianluca Velardi(7 - 5 - 5) from Rome, Italy.  Schirru weighed in at 116 pounds and 1 ounces, while Velardi weighed in at 115 pounds.    As Schirru came in over the weight limit, only his opponent will be able to compete for the final eliminator position tonight.  
The referee tonight is Remo Bordiga, and the three ringside judges are Silvano Zoff, Savio Anedda and Silvano Viani.
