Hiroki Sawada vs Kazuhiko Sonoda

Boxing Daily Report from the Shungwa Promotions promoted show at Ichikawa Matsunaga, Ichikawa,  taking place on 23/05/2030:

Clearly Shungwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Chiba Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hiroki Sawada (12(2) - 3 - 1) who hails from Funabashi, Japan and Kazuhiko Sonoda(19(8) - 4) from Chiba, Japan.  Both Sawada and Sonoda weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mikio Gima, and the three ringside judges are Goro Horie, Jun Usui and Taro Sugawara.  

Round 1: 

Sawada advances into close range and throws a right uppercut, but Sonoda ties up his opponent.  Sawada pushes his forearm into Sonoda's face.  The referee warns Sawada and breaks the clinch.

He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right uppercut to the head, AND DROPS SAWADA TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.
