Henry Longosiwa vs Xhosas Ngatuny

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Machakos promoted show at Athi River Ghai, Athi River,  taking place on 24/05/2030:

Clearly AI Kenya-Machakos have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Henry Longosiwa (11 - 5 - 2) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Xhosas Ngatuny(23(11) - 16(2)) from Athi River, Kenya.  Both Longosiwa and Ngatuny weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Mwiria, and the three ringside judges are Chike Maru, Leighton Tumbo and Vashon Magut.  

Round 1: 

Ngatuny gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the shot.  Ngatuny ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Ngatuny pushes his forearm into Longosiwa's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ngatuny lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  Ngatuny holds on to his opponent.  Ngatuny is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ngatuny to stop fouling.  
Ngatuny is looking to close the distance and drives a solid right hook into Longosiwa's body.  Ngatuny clinches his opponent.  Ngatuny is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ngatuny lands two left uppercut's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  Ngatuny clinches his opponent.  Ngatuny leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ngatuny uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Longosiwa behind the head. The ref breaks Ngatuny's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Ngatuny steps inside and manages to force Longosiwa into a neutral corner.  Ngatuny lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Ngatuny holds on to his opponent.  Ngatuny leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Ngatuny tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Longosiwa behind the head. 
Ngatuny drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Ngatuny connects with a mean right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE LONGOSIWA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Longosiwa quickly recovers. 
Longosiwa tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Ngatuny closes the distance and digs in a stinging right hook to Longosiwa's body.  
Ngatuny is on target with a cross.  
Ngatuny is on target with a solid right uppercut.  
Longosiwa switches the action to the outside.  Ngatuny lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Ngatuny lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Ngatuny clinches his opponent.  Ngatuny tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Longosiwa behind the head. Ngatuny is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ngatuny walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Ngatuny hits home with a right hook.  
Ngatuny digs in a telling right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  IT LOOKS LIKE LONGOSIWA WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Longosiwa quickly recovers. 
Ngatuny manages to force Longosiwa into a corner.  Ngatuny drives a left hook into Longosiwa's liver.  Ngatuny clinches his opponent.  Ngatuny leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ngatuny uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Longosiwa behind the head. 
Ngatuny lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body, AND DOWN GOES LONGOSIWA!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.

Ngatuny drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Ngatuny quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut to Longosiwa's ribcage.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Longosiwa's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Longosiwa's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Longosiwa's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Longosiwa switches the action to the outside.  Ngatuny lands a jab.

Ngatuny throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Ngatuny lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Ngatuny manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Ngatuny sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a solid right hook to Longosiwa's body.  
Ngatuny lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ngatuny hits home with a firm right hook.  
Ngatuny digs in a sharp right hook to his opponents body.  
Ngatuny steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  
Longosiwa steps to the outside.  Ngatuny stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Ngatuny lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body, AND DROPS LONGOSIWA TO THE CANVAS!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Ngatuny drives a weighty right uppercut into Longosiwa's body.  LONGOSIWA IS DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 5.  Longosiwa now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ngatuny advances into close range and manages to force Longosiwa into the blue corner.  Ngatuny lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Ngatuny clinches his opponent.  Ngatuny leans on his opponent using all his weight. Ngatuny hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Ngatuny sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Ngatuny slams a mean right hook into his opponents ribcage.  LONGOSIWA IS DROPPED TO THE CANVAS!  He is back up on his feet at 6.  Longosiwa now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
Ngatuny lands a VICIOUS cross.  LONGOSIWA IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  HE IS UNABLE TO GET UP BEFORE THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Ngatuny!
