Mick Verwoerd vs Matt Ngcobo

Boxing Daily Report from the South African Boxers promoted show at Ellis Park Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 03/08/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-Gauteng Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on M-Net, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mick Verwoerd (12(2) - 1) who hails from Soweto, South Africa and Matt Ngcobo(7(4) - 1) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Verwoerd and Ngcobo weighed in at 154 pounds.
