Gazi Mir vs Joel Sou

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Sarawak promoted show at Kuching Noorani, Kuching,  taking place on 26/05/2030:

Clearly AI Malaysia-Sarawak have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Sarawak Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gazi Mir (12 - 8 - 4) who hails from Kuching, Malaysia and Joel Sou(10 - 5 - 5) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Both Mir and Sou weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Imran Majid, and the three ringside judges are Ali Mannan, Asif Khalili and Sajid Sheikh.  

Round 1: 

Mir switches the action to the outside.  Sou connects with a cross.  
Sou quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mir hits home with a cross.  
Mir is looking to close the distance.  Sou quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mir connects with a left hook.  
Sou lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Sou steps to the outside.  Sou throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref stops the action and gives Mir time to recover.  
Sou steps inside.  Sou pivots to the right of his opponent andAs Sou tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Mir.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Sou switches the action to the outside and lands a cross.  
Sou steps inside.  Sou sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Mir is on target with a right hook.  
Sou switches the action to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Sou throws an overhand left, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Sou hits home with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mir's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Mir's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Mir's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Sou advances into close range.  Sou pivots from in front of his opponent.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Sou dabs at his face checking for damage.
