Bature Aniebo vs Atif Akram

Boxing Daily Report from the Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions promoted show at Kano Agoye, Kano,  taking place on 27/05/2030:

Clearly Ofosu-Ayeh Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Kano State Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bature Aniebo (11 - 8 - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Atif Akram(10 - 6) from Kano, Nigeria.  Aniebo weighed in at 227 pounds and 9 ounces, while Akram weighed in at 258 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rashid Nazimuddin, and the three ringside judges are Jay-Jay Ukaegbu, Brendan Akiwumi and Chris Adebola.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Akram.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Aniebo steps to the outside.  Aniebo sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Akram throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right uppercut.
