Ike Newuche vs John Akinola

Boxing Daily Report from the Vartughian Promotions promoted show at Nigeria-Osun State Gym, Osogbo,  taking place on 27/05/2030:

Clearly Vartughian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Nigeria-Osun State Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ike Newuche (15 - 5 - 2) who hails from Ife, Nigeria and John Akinola(15(1) - 5 - 1) from Osogbo, Nigeria.  Newuche weighed in at 200 pounds, while Akinola weighed in at 199 pounds and 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Izunna Adamu, and the three ringside judges are Haider Zahra, Haider Zahra and Godfrey Nduka.
