Hayden Callender vs John Abbott

Boxing Daily Report from the Box Zone promoted show at Kingston Woodhouse, Kingston,  taking place on 25/06/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Jamaica Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SportsMax, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Hayden Callender (13 - 8(5)) who hails from Kingston, Jamaica and John Abbott(20(8) - 6(4) - 1) from Kingston, Jamaica.  Both Callender and Abbott weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Spotswood, and the three ringside judges are Harvey Dennie, Matthew Christopher and Sid Eddie.  

Round 1:

Abbott closes the distance and walks Callender down, trapping him on the ropes.  Abbott lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Abbott steps inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Abbott throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Abbott lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Abbott ties up his opponent.  Callender tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Abbott behind the head. 
Abbott throws a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Abbott drives a right hook into his opponents body.  Abbott ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Abbott pushes his forearm into Callender's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
