Waleed Kairimow vs Amjad Backirov

Boxing Daily Report from the Marco Boogers promoted show at Sports Complex SUNKAR, Shymkent,  taking place on 22/07/2030:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Kazakhstan Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on KTK, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Waleed Kairimow (12(4) - 1) who hails from Shymkent, Kazakhstan and Amjad Backirov(10 - 6 - 1) from Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Both Kairimow and Backirov weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sasha Kajrbecov, and the three ringside judges are Waqar Tomilow, Arseni Kazbekow and Georgiy Sakieff.  

Round 1: 

Kairimow is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.

Backirov is looking to close the distance.  Kairimow drives a left uppercut into Backirov's body.  Kairimow holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Kairimow pushes his forearm into Backirov's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kairimow about fouling.  
Kairimow switches the action to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
Kairimow steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Kairimow lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.
