Xaver Sonson vs Santiago Camilo

Boxing Daily Report from the Ghale Promotions promoted show at Cagayan de Oro Baylosis, Cagayan de Oro,  taking place on 27/06/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Philippines-Misamis Oriental Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IBC, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xaver Sonson (20 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines and Santiago Camilo(16 - 1) from Cagayan de Oro, Philippines.  Both Sonson and Camilo weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jonathan Makiling, and the three ringside judges are Fausto Brasil, Gonzalo Alikpala and Jonathan Makiling.  

Round 1: 

Camilo closes the distance and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Camilo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sonson steps away from his opponent and attempts to land an overhand right, but Camilo dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Sonson feints a cross, tricking Camilo into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Sonson is waiting for the shot and counters with a cross.  
Camilo is looking to close the distance and walks Sonson down, trapping him on the ropes.  Camilo pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Camilo hits home with a cross.  
Sonson connects with a right hook.  Sonson wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Camilo dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Sonson attempts to land an overhand right, but Camilo slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Camilo advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Sonson on the ropes.  Camilo sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Camilo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  As Camilo tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
