Diego Araya vs Montana Villarruel

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon promoted show at Juan Prospero Gym, Bayamon,  taking place on 28/06/2030:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Bayamon Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Araya (20(1) - 4) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Montana Villarruel(2 - 6 - 2) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Araya and Villarruel weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Cuba Lugar, and the three ringside judges are Macario Armenta, Jair Sebastian and Venacio Toscano.  

Round 1: 

Araya closes the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Araya clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Araya pushes his forearm into Villarruel's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Araya.  
Villarruel is looking to keep his distance.  Araya lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Araya is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  Araya clinches his opponent.  Araya leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
