Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Iowa promoted show at Des Moines Davies, Des Moines,  taking place on 02/07/2030:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Iowa Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Lewis Mower (10(5) - 1 - 1) who hails from Des Moines, USA and Paul Field(14 - 12(1) - 1) from Des Moines, USA.  Both Mower and Field weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stephen Kidd, and the three ringside judges are Michael Hutchison, David Crosbie and Colin Dickins.  

Round 1: 

Mower drives a left hook into his opponents ribs.  
Mower walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Mower is on target with a right hook to Field's body.  
Mower pivots to the left of his opponent.  Field connects with a right hook.  
Mower pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Mower pivots to the left of his opponent.  Field attempts to land a left hook, but Mower sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.  
Mower lands a left uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Mower cuts off the ring, trapping Field in a corner.  Mower sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a solid right hook to Field's ribcage.  
Mower drives a stinging right uppercut into Field's body.  
Mower voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Field accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Mower.  
Mower lands a cross.  
Mower lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Field tries to step out of his opponents range and attempts to land a jab, but Mower sidesteps and counters with a firm cross.  
Field pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mower lands a jab.  
Mower drives a left hook into Field's ribs.  
Field throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.  
Mower gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Mower connects with a left hook.  
Mower lands a cross.  
Mower closes the distance.  Field lands a left hook.  
Mower steps inside and digs in a stinging left uppercut to his opponents liver.  
Field sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Mower slams a hurtful right uppercut into Field's ribcage.  IT LOOKS LIKE FIELD WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Field quickly recovers.
