Juan Ortis vs Santiago Mederos

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Antel Arena, Montevideo,  taking place on 08/08/2030:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports Latin America, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Juan Ortis (23(17) - 3(2)) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Santiago Mederos(8 - 0 - 1) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Ortis and Mederos weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Santiago Gregorio, and the three ringside judges are Beltran Aquino, Jair Vilchis and Manuel Damaso.
